Could you be U.S.A Landscape Photographer of the Year?







Now entering it’s third year, the U.S.A Landscape Professional photographer of the Year competitors is developed to display the charm and diverse nature of the American landscape.

And the bright side is that while this is an event of the American landscape and the images need to be taken in the United States, entrants do not have to reside in the USA. It’s open to everybody.

Digital Camera publication is delighted be part of the competitors and we have our own special award in this year’s U.S.A Landscape Professional photographer of the Year 2016.

This unique category is called Wild American Landscape and we are looking for mind-blowing images that record the magnificence of the wild American landscape, from the Alaskan Fjords to the Grand Canyon- and everywhere in-between! Perhaps utilize an image that was handled an exploration, a journey or a camping adventure or perhaps something closer to home.

Digital Camera magazine’s editor Ben Brain will be among the judges and fortunate winners will get a free one year membership to Digital Video camera magazine (print edition) and have the opportunity to take part in a ShootOut masterclass in America with Ben (information to be recommended). There’s a bunch of other cool rewards too and the total prize swimming pool is worth over $45,000.

You have until September 15th 2016 to send your photographs. That’s less than four weeks away! The contest is open to everybody and you can enter images into seven classifications consisting of Classic View, Black and White, Urban Landscape, Environmental Worth and My USA.
